Volunteer Application

We are powerful sister warriors who struggle daily to meet the needs of ourselves and our children. We are women and trans people of all genders who have survived violence, trauma, and underground street economies. We are impacted by incarceration, foster care, the child welfare system, immigration, social services, and other institutions and systems that control and criminalize us. We seek to have our voices heard and validated. We want to sit at any table where decisions are being made that affect us. We strive for concrete change in the material conditions of our lives and our communities. 

In the "Comments, other ideas, etc. (optional)" section, we invite you to share your personal story and let us know if you are systems-impacted. Systems-impacted means that your life has been touched by jails, prisons, transitional housing, foster care, group homes, immigration, welfare, poverty, etc.
