What an Endorsement Means
Our endorsement is a commitment to your vision and a community to back your candidacy.
The Sister Warriors Action Fund endorses candidates that align with our values, Freedom Charter, and champion the rights and voices of formerly and currently incarcerated and systems-impacted women and trans people of all genders.
The PathHow It Works
Apply
Fill out the questionnaire on this page. It is open to candidates and ballot committees fighting alongside our communities.
Committee Review
Our member-led Endorsement Committee vets every race: an interview with members, your track record, and accountability to the base.
The Charter Test
Every endorsement is measured against the Freedom Charter, the platform our members wrote and signed: in record, not just rhetoric.
All In
A yes is a commitment both ways: members, money, canvasses, and voter guides move behind you, and you stay at the table with our communities after the win.
Start Your Application
Complete the candidate questionnaire to begin. Our member-led Endorsement Committee takes it from there.
